• Role: Snowflake Data Layer Developer

• Our customer in the Hospitality industry is looking for a skilled Snowflake Data Layer Developer to strengthen our data platform. You will be part of the team that ensures our data foundation is robust, scalable, and optimized for both operational and analytical use.

• Our architecture is structured into three main layers:

• • Data layer (Snowflake as central data platform)

• • Integration layer (MuleSoft-based services)

• • Business layer (Java applications and services)

• Responsibilities

• • Design, build, and optimize data models, schemas, and pipelines in Snowflake.

• • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from internal systems and third-party sources.

• • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the data layer.

• • Collaborate with Mule developers and Java engineers to provide reliable data access and APIs for business applications.

• • Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune Snowflake performance.

• • Implement security best practices around data access, sharing, and compliance.

• Requirements

• • Hands-on experience with Snowflake development and administration.

• • Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.

• • Experience with ETL/ELT tools and building pipelines (dbt, Matillion, Airflow, or similar).

• • Knowledge of data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schemas, data vault, etc.).

• • Familiarity with APIs and integration patterns for data exchange.

• • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

• Nice to Have

• • Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• • Familiarity with MuleSoft or other integration technologies.

• • Experience with BI/analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

• • Knowledge of hotel industry systems (PMS, booking, CRM).
