Background The company currently lacks in-house expertise in load and performance testing, which has led to a previous attempt to replace an existing web-based system failing – the new system was unable to handle the actual traffic. The current need is to replicate the production environment's traffic in a controlled testing environment to test and optimize the new solution. In addition to identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, a key aspect of the assignment is transferring expert knowledge and building internal competence in load and performance testing. Requirements • Experience in developing a detailed plan to replicate the production environment's traffic. • Ability to identify critical load scenarios that mirror real-world usage. • Create and implement test scenarios using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling. • Conduct continuous tests and ensure that the new solution can handle the expected traffic. • Analyze test results, document performance issues, and provide concrete improvement suggestions. • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Act as an expert and mentor for internal teams. • Develop and conduct training initiatives, workshops, and documentation to disseminate knowledge in the field. • Ability to work in Microsoft environments is advantageous. • Basic understanding of cyber security and its impact on system performance and reliability. • Proven experience in conducting load and performance tests in complex environments. • Strong ability to analyze data and quickly identify bottlenecks in the system. Desirable • Previous experience in replicating production environments for testing purposes. • Experience working with agile projects and DevOps methodologies. • Certifications in testing or performance optimization. • Experience in security-critical environments and working with Microsoft platforms.
